Races of Known-Space

Ranger Empire

Hayley.jpg

Ranger is not a title in my world but a race of ability based beings. They look Human but are in many ways quite different. All Rangers have one or two abilities. Each ability has five ascension is the character will gain in time.

Take Kyle Knight. He is a Fire-Caseter. By Return of the Imperium he would be a third ascension Fire-Caster.

Hayley Slater is a second ascension Ranger Hawk. She has flight, energy bombs, energy missiles and more.

Casey Knight is a fourth ascension Elementalist and can control multiple elements.

Cameron Summers has two different abilities. She is a third ascension Telekinetic and Sense-Ranger. How you say this in Ranger culture does matter. If you were to saw a level two Speedster. This would be considered bad grammar.

A Ranger can ascend with age or heavy stress. Rangers are known for making choices upon emotion and for extreme arrogance. They look down on all other beings and consider them to be inferior. Especially Humans.

This bring up an interesting point. There is much racism and prejudice in Ranger Universe, but it has nothing to do with the color of someones skin. It has to do with their race itself. Looking down on someone for the color of their skin is not even considered.

Calling a Ranger a man or woman is a grave insult and is reserved for Humans. Proper term is male or female Ranger.

Human Republic

Laura3_edited.jpg

The Human race is a big part of Rangers, but unlike most science fiction they are not the center of the universe. Humans in many ways are considered the bottom of the barrel in Known-Space. They smaller in size compared to most races and have no abilities. in fact to coin the common phrase they are called `stupid Human' by different races. Mostly Ranger.

Their technology is also on a lower level. This was not always the case. Humans were from a different part of the galaxy called the Orion Cluster. in years past, they had equal if not greater technology then the Rangers Empire, Draith Clans or Accaren Tribes.

This changed when the Humans were forced to leave Old Earth. Their planet was desolated and the survivors headed for Known-Space in the year 3028. Human's at that point allied with different races created what is called the Human Republic.

Republic.

Accaren Tribes

Tristan.jpg

Accarens are the opposite of Rangers in many ways. They have no abilities. Accarens to have a heavier build and wear dense Accaren Armor from a young age. This gives them the edge they need to fight an ability based being like the the Ranger people.

Accarens and Rangers are known for having bad blood for hundred of years even before the Accaren war. Accarens are xenophobic and many of their laws prohibit marrying or even socializing with an aliens. Many of these infraction could be punishable with death.

In fact, the Accaren was started over this very subject.

Accarens had at one time a great empire, but after the Rangers won the war. The Accarens are split up into different tribes. They have tattoo under their eyes with a shape and color. This tells by sight. Another difference, Accarens are pro slavery in comparison to Rangers. Accarens have equal levels of technology to the Rangers

Draith Clans

Rift_Cammy1_edited.jpg

I would like to introduce the Draith. Truly they are thing of nightmares. Standing nearly eight feet tall. They have advances reflects and night vision. They are the hunters of Rangers Universe.

Draith originally came from the Void and battled the Ranger Empire. After only a few years, the Draith conquered the now Former Ranger Empire.

Draith are split up into Seven sons of Kar’Raa’Desh. each son has his own clan and fleet. the sons are also connect telepathically to Kar’Raa’Desh.

Tuskeron Hordes

202568164259327.png

Tuskerons are Half-man, half-animal. Standing at an impressive 10-12 ft tall depending on the breed.

Originally came from Old Earth prior to the flood and are a product of amalgamation by the Antediluvian people. Taken by the Imperium and populated Known-Space.

Tuskerons have lower level technowlogy and rely on sheer numbers more then fire power. Due to this they have one of the largest fleets in Known-Space.

Turkcanon Consortium

Turkcannon3_edited.jpg

Turkcanons are reptile humanoids with a similar build to Ranger or Human. Little is talked about their origin in Rangers. Yet, these aliens are seen everywhere in the Ninth Faction populous.

Turkcanons control few planets, but have a line of space-stations along the boarder of the Human Republic and are critical for the defense of the Ninth Faction. They also have control of Korath, a maximum security prison.

Narairian Hives

2025620125474 - Copy.png

Next one is the Narairians. These are insect-style Humanoids. Narairians are not from Known-Space and come from the regions beyond known as Unexplored-Space. They are very aggressive and part of the Ninth Faction (There will be an entire post on the Ninth Faction coming up.)

These bugs do not care about the political battles going on and are only part of this allies because Adrian Quin forced them in at gunpoint. Main reason, Narairians have the largest fleet in all of Rangers Universe. Yet, if they could be left alone they would have no dealing with other races.

Genetic Imperium

20256421139555.png

The Imperium stands out as one of the most powerful races in all of Rangers Universe for a few reasons.

The Imperium are masters of genetic manipulation. They stole different different attributes from many races. This included advanced reflexes, healing, a perfect memory, and more.

Many of them are very old and were around pre-flood. some even visited Old Earth prior to the flood. They worked with the Antediluvians and helped create the Tuskeron race along with other forms of amalgamation.

Their technology and armor is also quite advanced. Their armor is designed to absorb energy and elements. This makes it very different to damage or destroy.

A'Zealion Federation

202562494029193.png

A'Zealions are shapeshifters. At this point I have them changing into a an handful of different animals, but this concept will expand in time.

A'Zealions were allied with the Ranger Empire and fought against the Accarens and Draith in the past two major wars. A'Zealion have a long life span and topically life around three hundred years.

Valari

202562494714787.png

Valari are dimensional beings. Any race can become Valari through an "unknown ritual" The Valari will keep the abilities that said being and will gain some extra. Advanced healing, reflexes, speed. They can also sense powerful beings (like Cameron) over very long distances.

Valari in many ways are an infection. Some have even called a parasite. As stated in Origins they gained a foothold in Known-Space because of Adrian Quin and his pulling of red energy. This is their home. Think of like a hose with water. the more he opens the valve the more power they have.

Signs of being infected by Valari: Gray sin, uses phrases like "we" and "us". They might laugh or have an emotionally odd response to something that was said. They will also twitch and scratch themselves as they move.

Groblicon

Groblicon.jpg

Some have called him cute. Small, blue and fuzzy. Let me tell you, this is one of the scariest creatures in all of Rangers! If he got his own book, it would be a R rated horror film.

Groblicon is a techno-mage and is telepathic. Groblicon are masters of technology and the most powerful techno-mage in Rangers. They are feared, even by beings as powerful as the Crimson Syndicate.

Funny thing, I actually do not know a lot about the race. Groblicon is not one of my creation, but was borrowed to Rangers Universe and created by Kody Moreno. He has only made one appearance in all of the books. This was in Orgins as d0uG and was part of Du'ug.

Demons/Fallen Angels

2025312204526691.png
Satan1_edited.jpg
McKenna2_edited.jpg
Konstantine1_edited.png

Demons and or fallen Angels are a big part of Rangers Universe from the villains to the overall story arch. At this point we have seen four of them appearing in Rangers. Elyzabeth, Konstantine, McKenna and Lucifer (aka Satan.)

Most descriptions in Christian literature make them ugly with horns and a tail. I am personally not of this belief. Demons in Rangers are as beautiful as they were in heaven.

In Rangers Universe, it is not just the Human race which fell. All races in the whole universe fell for one reason or another. So deep down, Satan is the main top supervillain villain overall. So, Satan temped all these races, they all fell. Jesus came to Earth, lived a perfect life as a man and died for the sins of the whole universe. He was than raised and ascended back to Heaven.

So, the best way of thinking about it, everything which happened in history, is canon to Rangers. I merely add in the other races. Based upon Genesis 1:16 “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.”

do not believe in any way Demons can reproduce. I do not believe they are physically capable of doing this. That is a literal statement. Therefore the concept of them have any form of children is impossible. To be clear there are NO Nephilim in Rangers. No children of Demons.

Du'ug

Cammy_Duverney_edited.jpg
cammyandd0ug.jpg
DDoug1_edited.jpg

Du'ug is a one, yet many and are masters of telekinetic energy. For each Du'ug in play, it creates a multiplication effect of their ability, intelligence, ect.

Allow me to give you some examples. These characters all come from different races, yet they are all Du'ug.

Douglas Donald Duverney (The one with the people mohawk) Born in the late 20th century. Duverney is Human, but because he was named Doug, he is part of Du'ug. in his words he "called." Designation is forty-five Doug

Dangerous Doug (holding the guitar) He is a Ranger who died on Rydon. Doug was not even his real name, merely what he went by on stage. Yet because his stage name is Doug, he is part of Du'ug. Designation is one-thousand-twelve Doug

The little blue is known as Psyche 816-q but his nickname is d0uG. His race is Groblicon. in his words "Against my own scientific reasoning, I am here because I am d0uG. Officially six-twenty-six Doug."

I am now canon to Rangers. I am called forty-two while my nickname by many is Dougie Fresh. Am I Douglas James Cheatham or am I forty-two Doug? Quoting Groblicon "Perplexing."

Want to be even more confused? Check out Rangers Universe: Origins. And always remember, If you are named Doug, you are Doug because "We...are...Du'ug."

Antediluvians

Coming soon!

Hybrids

Callen.jpg

Hybrids or (Half-bloods) as they are sometimes referred to  are not common in Rangers other then Tuskerons, but they are the main. There are a few characters which are Human and Ranger.

This practice was against Ranger law and strongly prohibited. If the child was born and the Ranger empire found out they would be killed of hunted down.

The main reasoning for this is their abilies. They are unpredictable as shown with Callen Cain.

A'lur'in Remnant

20256249574206.png

They are what I would consider in many ways the equal and opposite of the Draith. Same tall build with advanced reflex.
The major difference would be in their level of Technology. Draith would have mid-range. Similar to the Rangers or Accarens. A'lur'ins on the other hand have some of the best technology in Known-Space.

For many years they allied with the Ranger Empire during the Accaren war. They left this Alliance due to how the Rangers ended the war with killing billions of civilizations. At this point, A'lur'in are rarely in Known-Space. They have moved beyond and dwell in Unexplored-Space

God and Jesus

Heshem_Jesus10.JPG

In all of Rangers Universe there is only one God and his Son Jesus. Jehovah is the creator of the Universe and Jesus is His only begotten Son who stands next in authority to God. The express image of the Father. Rangers Universe is creation based and works hand and hand with the Bible. To the best of my ability.
